Dear Highland Families,
We understand that there are rumors spreading that Highland Elementary is closing next week. We are not sure where families are receiving this information, but we wanted to let you know that this is NOT TRUE. There have been discussions about possible school consolidations in the future, but NO DECISIONS have been made.
We are still holding community meetings and in the exploratory/planning stages.
We are committed to keeping families, staff and community members informed throughout the entire process. When and if any decisions are made, we will let you know immediately.
There is NO NEED to worry about transferring your child to a different school for the next school year. If a decision is made, we will let families know and allow for time to submit a transfer request.

Nos hemos enterado que hay rumores de que Highland Elementary cerrará la próxima semana. No estamos seguros de dónde están agarrando esta información, pero queremos asegurarle que NO ES VERDAD. Ha habido discusiones sobre posibles combinaciones escolares en el futuro, pero NO SE HAN TOMADO DECISIONES.
Todavía estamos teniendo reuniones comunitarias y estamos explorando / planificando.
